Hello, I’m Jessica Morgado, the artist and surface pattern designer behind Indigo Jay Studio.
From my home in Scotland, I find endless inspiration in purple heather-covered moorlands, misty lochs and the small, beautiful details I notice while exploring the natural world. My Mediterranean heritage brings an added warmth, colour and joyful energy to everything I create.

I love experimenting with drawing and painting techniques, then bringing my artwork into the digital world to create playful surface patterns and distinctive pieces for the home. My work is colourful and expressive, and I hope each design evokes a feeling and brings a little warmth and personality into your space.
When I’m not painting or designing, you’ll often find me outdoors with my children and camera, curled up with a good book, or relaxing with my next colourful handknitted chunky cardigan project (try repeating this last part as fast as you can!)
